Peter A. Rose is the Software Development Manager at DHAP Digital, where he manages the software engineering practice and a team of dedicated architects, developers and database engineers. Since joining DHAP in 2003, Peter has managed the design and development of innovative Internet applications, employing a wide range of programming languages and technology frameworks to best serve diverse client business needs. Prior to joining DHAP, Peter spent six years in the enterprise e-learning industry, where he co-founded and managed software development at Savant LLC. Peter was responsible for the architecture and development of the Learning Vista Learning Management System (LMS), in addition to managing e-learning professional services engagements before the company was sold to GlobalLearning Systems in 2000. Afterwards, he served as the software architect for the Pearson Course Development Platform (PCDP), a distributed foreign language delivery system developed for Pearson Education, Inc. Peter previously worked as a Senior Professional Services Engineer at BEA Systems, Inc. As a founding member of BEA's professional services team, he provided on-site consulting for BEA's TUXEDO transactional monitor and WebLogic application server products. Peter earned a B.A. in Finance and Information Systems from The Stern School of Business at New York University, where he was also an Alumni Scholar. He is an accomplished writer and studies classic and foreign film in his spare time. |
